Iran has been largely cut off from the global internet for more than 120 hours, said internet monitoring group NetBlocks, which tracks connectivity worldwide.
The nationwide disruption was highlighted in a post by NetBlocks on X, Caliber.Az reports.
“Iran’s internet blackout has now exceeded 120 hours with connectivity still flatlining around 1% of ordinary levels.
Meanwhile, an increasingly Orwellian environment is emerging as telcos threaten users who try to connect to the global internet with legal action,” the post reads.
