Azerbaijan will introduce simplified visa procedures for foreign nationals and stateless persons travelling to the country for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival.
Under a decree issued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, eligible visitors arriving between September 22 and November 5, 2026, will be able to obtain visas at the country’s international airports, Caliber.Az reports.
Applicants must present either an official invitation letter from the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) or a document confirming accreditation through FIFA’s electronic registration system.
The Foreign Ministry and State Migration Service have been instructed to provide information on the simplified procedures and the availability of e-visas through Azerbaijan’s ASAN Visa system.
