Russian forces have struck drone production facilities in Kyiv and the surrounding region, Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Thursday, September 17.
The ministry said the attacks also hit an energy storage battery facility in Brovary that it described as providing uninterrupted power to military facilities in the Kyiv region.
“Russian forces struck Ukraine’s largest data centre, which supports the operation of server equipment used for military purposes,” the ministry said.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces reportedly struck the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant, as well as an assembly facility belonging to the radio-electronics industry, according to the ministry.
The Russian military also struck an electrical substation that the ministry said provides power for the operation of the port of Izmail, it added.
