Georgia will not become involved in what it describes as an ideological confrontation between Brussels and Washington, Georgian MP Levan Makhashvili said, responding to remarks by European Commissioner Marta Kos.


Kos had said that countries seeking European Union membership should not maintain ties with US President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement. Makhashvili criticised the position, arguing that Brussels was effectively treating the current US administration as an adversary in the context of EU enlargement, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media
