BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. A meeting
between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian
Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is planned in New York, the
spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA),
Aykhan Hajizada, responded to a Trend's inquiry.
He noted that the meeting would take place this month.
On September 9, while speaking to journalists during the Baku
Climate Action Week 2026 (BCAW 2026), Azerbaijani Foreign Minister
Jeyhun Bayramov said that a meeting with the Armenian Foreign
Minister could be held in the near future.
The minister noted that an exchange of views had taken place
between Azerbaijan and Armenia during events held in Bishkek in
recent weeks.
