Ukraine plans to restructure the operations of certain mobile fire teams and air defence lines, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said at a meeting of the Staff.

In a post on Telegram, he stated that the meeting reviewed the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways — Ed.), petrol station networks and other critical facilities that are priority targets for Russian strikes, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Zelenskyy, the staff exchanged views on contracts for the production of systems to protect critical infrastructure and logistics.

A decision was made to strengthen the electronic warfare component and increase procurement, as well as restructure the operations of certain mobile fire teams and air defence lines.

The Finance Ministry was tasked with providing additional resources for logistics. The meeting also addressed the security of rail links in border areas with the EU and Moldova, rolling-stock repairs and equipment supplies for Ukrzaliznytsia.

The government is preparing measures for backup routes in frontline regions, including combining rail and bus services. Details of measures to protect specific critical infrastructure facilities have not been disclosed.
