Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has highlighted new opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Switzerland.
Jabbarov made the remarks on his X account following the 10th meeting of the Swiss-Azerbaijani Joint Economic Commission, Caliber.Az reports.
“Together with our colleagues, we reviewed the priority areas for advancing the Azerbaijan–Switzerland economic partnership, as well as the current state of trade and investment relations, at the 10th meeting of the Joint Commission.
We discussed opportunities to expand cooperation with the Swiss Confederation both bilaterally and within the framework of international financial institutions.
We highlighted new prospects for cooperation in industry, energy, the digital economy, innovation, agriculture, and tourism, and emphasized the opportunities that Azerbaijan’s favorable investment climate, strategic transport connectivity, green energy potential, and ongoing digital transformation initiatives offer to Swiss businesses,” the post reads.
