Print media in Georgia is on the verge of extinction, while electronic media is experiencing significant pressure and growing competition from social media platforms and bloggers.
The remarks were made by Arno Khidirbegishvili, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Georgian Information and Analytical Agency Gruzinform, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
He highlighted the challenges facing the country’s media landscape amid the rapid expansion of digital and social platforms.
