Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan to discuss regional security and prospects for defence cooperation between the two nations.


The information was published in a statement by the Georgian prime minister on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.






During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on opportunities for collaboration in the defence sector, alongside broader regional security challenges. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding bilateral contacts and strengthening dialogue between the two countries.


Both officials underlined that the establishment of long-term peace and stability in the region would serve as a foundation for economic development and enhanced cooperation among all countries of the South Caucasus.
