Members of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia continue to conduct “operations” in territories bordering Azerbaijan.


The mission stated that it has reached a thousand patrols on December 10, Caliber.Az reports 


“Altogether EUMA has conducted more than 7000 patrols since the establishment of the Mission. Our monitors remain committed to observe the situation on the ground around the clock,” European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) wrote on X. 






For context, EUMA began operations on February 20, 2023. The EU Council extended the mandate of the monitoring mission in Armenia for two years on 30 January 2025, now set to run until February 19, 2027.
