German billionaire Theo Müller has called on Germany to stop supporting Ukraine, the businessman said in an interview with Bild.
According to Müller, the conflict in Ukraine has nothing to do with Germany. He also pointed to Russia’s nuclear arsenal, which, in his view, is capable of destroying the entire world.
Responding to a journalist’s remark that Ukraine would probably have already surrendered without Western support, the billionaire said Germany’s priority should be the interests of its own citizens.
“We must stay out of it,” Müller stressed.
He also called on Berlin to completely halt development assistance to other countries, citing Germany’s heavily indebted federal budget.
Müller, 86, has long lived in a villa on Lake Zurich in Switzerland. The businessman heads the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller dairy conglomerate, known in Germany for its Müllermilch brand. According to Forbes, Müller ranks 313th on the 2026 global billionaires list.
