Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that 2,022 drones flew toward the Moscow region between September 12 and September 19, with most of them neutralised by air defences before reaching the capital region.
“From 8:30 a.m. on September 12 to 8:30 a.m. on September 19, 2,022 drones flew toward the Moscow region. Most of them were neutralised by air defence forces on the distant approaches,” Sobyanin wrote on the Max messenger.
He added that 186 drones had been destroyed as they approached Moscow.
