Iran’s religious authorities have revealed conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Supreme Leader’s adviser Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr said the maritime route will not be reopened to shipping as long as US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remain in power, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Our warriors will not open the Strait of Hormuz until the criminal Trump and bloodthirsty Netanyahu are overthrown from the seat of power,” he noted.

The adviser added that closing the strait was only “the first stage of the Iranian people’s revenge.”
