An explosion occurred near the building of a territorial recruitment and social support centre (TCC, the equivalent of a military recruitment office) in Ukraine’s western Lviv Region, injuring a serviceman.
The Lviv Regional TCC said in a post on Facebook that the incident happened on September 17, at around 16:30; an unknown device exploded at the entrance to the Stryi District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre in the city of Mykolaiv, Caliber.Az reports.
“According to preliminary information, the device was thrown from the street by unidentified persons,” the statement noted.
A serviceman from the second department of the Stryi TCC was injured in the blast. He was hospitalised in moderate condition.
Law enforcement officers and an investigative-operational team are working at the scene.
