Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Eswatini’s King Mswati III and the people of the Kingdom on the country’s Independence Day, highlighting growing opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
In his congratulatory message, Aliyev said that “favorable conditions have been created for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Eswatini,” Caliber.Az reports.
He described King Mswati III’s visit to Baku in May to attend the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) as “an important milestone in the history of Azerbaijan-Eswatini relations.” Aliyev also recalled with “warm memories” their meeting and the exchange of views held in a cordial atmosphere.
“I believe that, in line with the interests of our peoples, we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen friendly relations between our countries and to make full use of the potential for our cooperation,” the Azerbaijani president said.
Aliyev also wished King Mswati III robust health, happiness and success, while extending his wishes for peace and prosperity to the people of Eswatini.
