Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls with his Saudi and Turkish counterparts to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.


Araghchi spoke with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the evening of September 5, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement cited by Mehr.


The talks focused on bilateral issues, the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to promote stability in the region and end the “imposed insecurity” in the Strait of Hormuz stemming from aggressive US actions.


No further details were immediately provided.
