Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said he held talks with Chinese  Cyberspace Administration Minister Zhuang Rongwen on strengthening cooperation in digital development, social media governance, and countering disinformation and deepfakes.


In a post on X, Hajiyev noted that the talks were held within the framework of the “comprehensive strategic partnership” between Azerbaijan and China, Caliber.Az reports.






He said the discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in digital development and addressing challenges related to online information integrity, including the spread of disinformation and AI-generated deepfakes.
