The memory of Azerbaijanis who were killed in 1945 has been commemorated in Italy, according to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy.
“In the village of Monte di Nese, located in the province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region of Italy, the memory of 120 Azerbaijanis killed by fascists in April 1945 was honoured,” the embassy said in a statement.
