The Iranian Red Crescent Society has carried out more than 1,700 rescue and rubble-removal operations since the beginning of US and Israeli attacks, according to a press release from the organisation.
“During the war against Iran, accompanied by airstrikes by the United States and Israel, the Iranian Red Crescent Society conducted 1,711 rescue and debris-clearance operations in affected areas. Only in Tehran, Red Crescent teams rescued 960 people alive from under the rubble,” the statement said.
