Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has arrived in the United States for a working visit.


Japarov was welcomed at Salt Lake City International Airport by Utah Senate President Stuart Adams, according to the Kyrgyz presidential administration.


During his stay in Utah, Japarov is scheduled to meet with state officials and familiarise himself with U.S. experience in tourism and sustainable mountain development.


Japarov will then travel to New York, where he will take part in events during the High-Level Week of the General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.


The Kyrgyz president is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of state and senior executives of major U.S. companies.
