US President Donald Trump is planning several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, but a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not been confirmed.
The sources said Zelenskyy was not included in the current list of leaders due to meet Trump, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz previously said Trump planned to meet Venezuelan presidential envoy Delcy Rodríguez, as well as the prime ministers of the UK and Japan.
The US president is also expected to hold meetings with leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which includes Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The UN General Assembly's high-level general debate, attended by heads of state and government and foreign ministers, will take place at the organisation's headquarters in New York from September 22 to 26 and on September 28.
