Zhanna Nemtsova, daughter of late Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, has been placed on an international wanted list in Russia over allegations related to the activities of an organization designated as “undesirable” by Russian authorities.
Earlier, Moscow’s Basmanny District Court ordered Nemtsova’s arrest in absentia for two months, effective from the date of her extradition, deportation, or actual detention in Russia, ASTRA reports.
Her defense team has appealed the court’s decision.
Nemtsova is accused of organizing the activities of a foreign or international organization that has been designated as “undesirable” in Russia.
