Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) have discussed preparations for a Partnership Strategy covering 2027–2031.
The discussions were held during a meeting between Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Director General Tarlan Rasulov and a delegation led by IsDB Group Chairman Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The meeting focused on Azerbaijan’s macroeconomic situation, ongoing reforms in the financial sector and measures to expand financial inclusion.
The sides also discussed initiatives to develop Islamic finance in Azerbaijan and explored opportunities for further growth in the sector.
They exchanged views on prospects for future cooperation between the CBA and IsDB, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives as part of preparations for the new Partnership Strategy.
