Azerbaijani Presidential Aide Hikmet Hajiyev has presented his country’s historical heritage at the Arab Media Forum in Dubai, UAE, highlighting traces of Caucasian Albania in Karabakh.
In a post on X, Hajiyev said in his presentation during a panel discussion, he drew attention to Azerbaijan’s centuries-old tradition of multiculturalism and religious tolerance, Caliber.Az reports.
“I highlighted Azerbaijan’s centuries-old tradition of multiculturalism and religious coexistence, as well as our country’s commitment to protecting, preserving and restoring its rich cultural and religious heritage, irrespective of its origin or faith,” he noted.
Hajiyev further stated that he also addressed the “extensive destruction, desecration and alteration of Azerbaijan’s religious and cultural heritage during the years of occupation.”
He stressed “the importance of safeguarding historical truth and preserving cultural heritage for future generations.”
