More than 4,000 Turkish companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan, including in territories liberated from occupation, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said

Speaking at a press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on September 15, the minister also noted that Azerbaijani investments in Türkiye have exceeded $20 billion, while Turkish investments in Azerbaijan have surpassed $18 billion, Caliber.Az reports.

“More than 4,000 Turkish companies are successfully operating in Azerbaijan, including in the territories liberated from occupation,” Bayramov said.

According to the minister, bilateral trade turnover amounted to $5.7 billion in 2025 and had already exceeded $3.2 billion in the first eight months of 2026.

“All of this demonstrates how intensive and multifaceted our relations are. (...) There is no sphere that is not reflected in the Shusha Declaration, which expresses the vision of the leaders of the two countries,” the minister stressed.
