Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation and Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research, to discuss key issues on the Azerbaijan-Switzerland bilateral agenda.
In a post on X, Jabbarov said, during the talks, the sides emphasised that the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Switzerland are based on mutual respect and trust and noted the broad opportunities for further developing the partnership, Caliber.Az reports.
“The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss expanding trade and investment cooperation, identifying new areas of engagement within the framework of the Joint Commission, and further strengthening humanitarian ties between our countries,” Jabbarov wrote.
“During our working visit to Switzerland, we met with Swiss President and Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research Guy Parmelin.
