A fire broke out at the Tolyattikauchuk chemical plant in Samara on September 12, according to the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
The fire affected production facilities in workshops BK-2, BK-3 and BK-4, which produce butyl rubber and process the isobutane-isobutylene fraction.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed the cause of the fire or the extent of any damage.
