The Greek ambassador to Azerbaijan has met with the rector of Baku Slavic University to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in higher education, science, and cultural exchange.
According to the Greek Embassy in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Maria Papakonstantinou held talks with Baku Slavic University Rector Anar Nagiyev on prospects for expanding academic cooperation between Greece and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between universities in the two countries, including the implementation of student exchange programs and broader cooperation in education and scientific research.
The meeting also highlighted the role of the Centre for Greek Language and Culture, which has been operating at Baku Slavic University since 2004, in promoting cultural and educational ties between Greece and Azerbaijan.
The embassy said the centre continues to serve as an important platform for strengthening bilateral cooperation in education and fostering closer people-to-people relations.
