A delegation of young representatives from Azerbaijan's diaspora will take part in the International Youth Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, from August 12 to 14.
According to Azerbaijan's State Committee for Diaspora Affairs, the event will bring together more than 500 young leaders from over 100 countries, beginning on International Youth Day on August 12, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The assembly will focus on exchanging experiences, expanding international cooperation, strengthening partnerships in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and promoting innovative solutions to global challenges.
Azerbaijan will be represented by five members of the International Azerbaijan Youth Association (IAYA). The organisation's logo has been featured on the official Brandwall of the 31st International Youth Assembly, highlighting the growing international presence of Azerbaijani diaspora youth.
Organisers say the participation is expected to strengthen the integration of Azerbaijani youth into global networks, foster new international partnerships, and promote Azerbaijan's engagement in international youth initiatives.
