Azerbaijani authorities have recovered the remains of several soldiers who went missing during the First Karabakh War in the early 1990s.


The remains were found during search operations in Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar district, near the Qizilqaya Heights, Childiran, Dovshanli Vengi and Mount Murov, the Emergency Medical Services team said, Caliber.Az reports.




The soldiers had gone missing in 1992–1993. Their remains have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further procedures.
