Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree outlining measures for hosting the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, which will take place in the country from October 22 to 31.
According to the decree, coordination of preparations and activities related to the tournament has been assigned to the Organising Committee that was previously established to oversee Azerbaijan's hosting of the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Caliber.Az reports.
The decision formalises the government's organisational framework for the youth football event, which is expected to bring together young players and officials from around the world.
