Starting from June 22, tourists traveling to Vietnam will be required to complete an electronic arrival card in advance, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) has announced.
“From June 22, filling out the electronic arrival card will be mandatory for all tourists arriving through all international airports in the country, including Nha Trang. The form is available in Russian and requires passport details, visa information, as well as the duration and place of stay in Vietnam,” the statement said.
The form can be completed on Vietnam’s immigration service portal no earlier than 72 hours before entry into the country. Once submitted successfully, the system will generate a QR code, which must be presented to immigration officers upon arrival.
The requirement applies to all foreign nationals, including Russians entering under the visa-free regime for stays of up to 45 days, as well as holders of electronic visas.
The only exceptions are transit passengers who do not cross the border and holders of diplomatic and service passports.
