Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is on a visit to Bangkok, Thailand, to participate in the 82nd session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), the Foreign Ministry announced.
The session, titled “Leaving no one behind: advancing a society for all ages in Asia and the Pacific,” will serve as a platform to discuss current and emerging demographic trends as well as socio-economic priorities. These include decent work, full and productive employment for all age groups, strengthening women’s economic empowerment, and ensuring universal social inclusion.
On the sidelines of the ESCAP session in Bangkok, Jeyhun Bayramov also held a meeting with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
During the visit, Bayramov is scheduled to participate and deliver a speech on April 20 at the 82nd ESCAP session, which will be held under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship, as well as conduct meetings with other high-level officials.
