The Iranian army has stated that drone production has increased ten times over a seven-month period following what it described as the “12-day war,” adding that the armed forces are determined to counter any escalation with all available means.

Brigadier General Mahmoud Sheikh Hassani, an executive assistant in the Iranian army, described this as evidence of a qualitative leap in the production and strategic capabilities of Iran’s air force and drone units, according to foreign media.

Sheikh Hassani also said that “all operational plans implemented during the so-called ‘third imposed war’ were developed seven months before its start by martyr Lieutenant General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, and were delivered to all military and security units, including the aerospace forces and the army,” which, he added, reflects a high level of prior planning and preparedness to counter any potential aggression.
