Iran could reach a fair agreement with the United States if Washington adheres to international norms and respects Tehran’s red lines, President Masoud Pezeshkian said.
Pezeshkian made the remarks during a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to achieve a balanced and fair agreement that ensures peace and sustainable security in the region,” he said, according to a statement released by the Iranian president’s press service.
“If the United States adheres to international legal frameworks, reaching an agreement is entirely possible.”
