BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21.
A delegation representing the constitutional courts of member and
observer states of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions
of the Turkic World (TÜRK-AY) visited Azerbaijan’s Khankendi city
on October 21.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the
Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi
city, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts.
According to the report, the guests first visited Garabagh
University as part of their trip.
The delegation members explored the modern educational and
scientific facilities established at this higher education
institution. Then, a meeting was held with students from the
Faculty of Law at Garabakh University.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on
constitutional justice, the development of legal systems, and
contemporary challenges in the field of law. The delegation members
answered the students' questions and provided clarification on
various topics of interest to them.
The meeting was significant in terms of exposing young legal
professionals to international practices, enhancing their legal
knowledge, and fostering their professional development. Following
the meeting held at the university, the guests familiarized
themselves with Khankendi city and the large-scale construction,
development, and reconstruction works being carried out there.
They observed firsthand the improvement measures being
implemented in the city, as well as the work underway to upgrade
infrastructure and create a modern urban environment.
A roundtable organized by the TÜRK-AY organization is taking
place in Baku from October 19 to 22, focused on the theme "Role of
artificial intelligence in the activities of constitutional
courts." The event is attended by delegations from the
Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan,
Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives from the
Constitutional Court of Pakistan and the Supreme Court of the
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, both of which hold observer
