Russian users have reported widespread problems accessing Apple’s App Store, with the number of complaints exceeding 470 on September 20.
According to outage-monitoring data, 474 complaints about App Store access were recorded on September 20, compared with 21 on September 19. Reports were submitted by users across 43 Russian regions, with Moscow accounting for the largest share at 31 percent of all complaints, followed by St. Petersburg and the Irkutsk Region.
Some users also reported that the App Store could only be accessed when using a VPN.
