The next meeting between Russia and the United States, where the two sides are expected to discuss removing “irritants” in bilateral relations, will take place in the coming weeks, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told RIA Novosti.
According to Ryabkov, such consultations have become regular and are considered useful in Moscow. However, he noted that progress on sensitive issues has been slower than expected.
“Nevertheless, we are not giving up on this; we will continue moving forward,” the diplomat emphasized.
