North Korea has launched an unidentified projectile toward the Sea of Japan, Yonhap News Agency reports, citing South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.
South Korean military authorities detected the launch, but details, including the type of projectile and the purpose of the operation, have not yet been disclosed.
The military is now analyzing the projectile’s specifications and range, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
