The Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) have renewed their cooperation through a memorandum signed in Baku.
The agreement was signed by Vahid Novruzov, chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan, and Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui, president of ICAP, during an international scientific-practical conference marking the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijani chamber, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The conference, titled Stages of Audit Development: From Compliance to Strategic Partnership and the Path to Trust, focused on the development of the auditing profession and its role in strengthening trust and professional cooperation.
Following the signing, Siddiqui said ICAP would work closely with Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Auditors in areas including quality assurance and combating money laundering.
"This document is not just a piece of paper; it is a commitment. From now on, we will work together in many areas of mutual interest, exchange personnel, and bring together the right specialists and knowledge between our institutions and our countries," he said.
