Azerbaijani presidential aide and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, held separate meetings with UAE State Minister Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri and UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash in Abu Dhabi, discussing bilateral ties, strategic partnership and regional developments.


During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Hajiyev met with Al Hajeri, with the two officials reviewing the dynamically developing relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE within the framework of their strategic partnership, as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues, Caliber.Az reports.


“As regional middle powers, Azerbaijan and the UAE play a positive and constructive role in international relations, contributing to stability, cooperation and dialogue,” Hajiyev wrote on his X account.







In a separate meeting with Gargash, the UAE presidential adviser on diplomatic affairs, Hajiyev discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries across various areas, as well as issues of mutual interest.


“The two sides also reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on them,” Hajiyev wrote.
