The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported attacks on the Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia’s Samara Region and the Atlant Aero UAV manufacturing plant in Taganrog.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the Syzran refinery was struck during the night of September 15. The attack reportedly damaged the AVT-6 primary oil refining unit and a tank farm.
The General Staff also said the Atlant Aero plant in Taganrog was targeted, with explosions and a fire reported at the facility. The company specialises in the design, production and testing of Molniya strike and reconnaissance UAVs, as well as components for Orion drones. The plant has reportedly been targeted in previous attacks.
Earlier, ASTRA reported that a fire had broken out at the Rosneft-owned Syzran Oil Refinery following a Ukrainian attack.
