Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has held talks with China’s Minister of National Defence Admiral Dong Jun during a working visit to China.
Hasanov is in China to attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry said.
During the visit, he also toured a production facility of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), where he met the corporation’s Director General Chen Shaoyang and reviewed various defence systems.
His meeting with Dong Jun covered the current state and prospects for Azerbaijan-China cooperation in the military, military-technical and military education fields.
The officials also discussed international security issues and other matters of mutual interest, the ministry said.
