Russian forces launched overnight and morning strikes on Ukraine’s Odesa region and Kyiv, hitting logistics, port and transport infrastructure as well as civilian sites, Ukrainian officials said.
In the Odesa region, the attacks damaged the roofs, facades and windows of private homes, along with dozens of garages and cars, according to the head of the regional military administration, Caliber.Az reports.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces had targeted “logistics centres, Ukrainian ports, and seagoing vessels operating on behalf of the Ukrainian Armed Forces” in the Odesa region, including at the port of Chornomorsk.
The ministry also reported further strikes against railway infrastructure in western Ukraine.
In Kyiv, Russian drones struck a gas station, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Fires broke out in the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts following the attack.
Klitschko also reported damage to a warehouse in the Obolonskyi district and non-residential buildings in the Solomianskyi district.
Two people were injured in the morning attacks on the Ukrainian capital, with one of them in serious condition, according to the mayor.
