An obituary has appeared in Russian sources for Major General Anton Feliksovich Grunis, commander of Russia’s 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade, according to an analysis by Exilenova+.
Grunis directly commanded Russian forces during combat operations against Ukraine, including on the Bakhmut and Kostyantynivka fronts.
However, his reported death has not been officially confirmed.
