The Taganrog-Central military airfield in Russia’s Taganrog continues to burn, according to the independent open-source intelligence (OSINT) outlet ASTRA, which geolocated footage recorded by eyewitnesses.

The airfield is home to the 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment. A nearby facility is also the 325th Aircraft Repair Plant, which repairs transport aircraft and their components.

ASTRA previously reported a possible attack on the airfield in Taganrog on September 12. Smoke was seen rising over the city from the direction of the airbase following a drone attack.

Earlier, the Taganrog Mayor reported attacks on an Ozon warehouse and agricultural enterprise warehouses, adding that the missile strike on the night of September 15 damaged windows in five apartment buildings and three private houses.
