A command-and-staff exercise involving Belarus’s Western Operational Command began on September 15, focusing on the management of troops during a strategic operation by the country’s armed forces.


The exercise will run through September 18 and is being conducted under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff, who also serves as the first deputy defence minister, Belarus’s Defence Ministry press service said, according to TASS.


The exercise is focused on the topic: “Command of troops during a strategic operation of the Armed Forces.”
