Azerbaijan's National Defence University (NDU) participated in the Higher Education Institutions Exhibition organised by the State Examination Centre (SEC), presenting its academic programmes, military education system and career opportunities to prospective students.
The exhibition, held at the SEC's Electronic Examinations Building in Baku, was organised to familiarise prospective students with the academic profiles of higher education institutions, their educational opportunities and the career prospects available to graduates, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
Representatives of the National Defence University, together with officers and cadets from the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, provided visitors with comprehensive information on Azerbaijan's military education system, admission procedures, the academic process and career opportunities in military service.
The NDU exhibition booth featured informational brochures on the university's activities and educational programmes, as well as presentation materials and other displays outlining its educational offerings.
Visitors were also introduced to reforms implemented in military education, the university's modern educational infrastructure, opportunities for studying abroad and the military personnel training system.
As part of the exhibition, the university organised informational sessions aimed at encouraging young people's interest in military careers, helping them make informed career choices and familiarising them with the activities of military educational institutions. Representatives also answered questions from participants throughout the event.
During the exhibition, Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Centre, visited the National Defence University's exhibition booth and offered recommendations on enhancing the attractiveness of military education among prospective students.
