Azerbaijan and Algeria have discussed expanding cooperation across a range of sectors, including energy, industry, tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises, transit and logistics.
The talks took place on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, according to a statement by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov on X.
Jabbarov said he had met Algerian Finance Minister Abdelkrim Bouzred to review prospects for strengthening bilateral ties.
Both sides also exchanged views on trade and investment cooperation and agreed on the importance of broadening economic engagement between the two countries.
