Syrian security forces said they prevented a planned bombing near a church in Damascus on Aperil 11, arresting five individuals in connection with the plot.


Authorities said that a woman was caught planting an explosive device in the Bab Touma neighborhood. The bomb was safely dismantled before it could detonate, and no injuries were reported, Clash Report informs


Preliminary investigations indicate that the cell behind the plot has links to Hezbollah and received training abroad, Syrian officials added.
